Byron Conroy is an accomplished underwater photographer specializing in cold-water environments and is currently based in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is the Chief Operating Officer of Arctic Adventures and Co-owner of Magmadive Iceland, combining his professional experience in adventure travel and diving with a passion for exploring and photographing some of the world’s most unique underwater environments.

Byron’s photography has taken him to incredible dive destinations around the globe, but Iceland’s dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and challenging cold-water conditions hold a special place in his work. In addition to his expedition and diving work, Byron is available for commercial underwater photography, photo licensing, and private photography tours. His passion for cold-water diving and photography offers a unique perspective on the underwater world of Iceland—and a glimpse into why diving beneath the Land of Fire and Ice should be on every diver’s adventure list.
