Tina Haigh and her husband acquired the 12-acre former limestone quarry in 1978. What started out as a family gathering place eventually opened up as a diving quarry. A wide variety of large platforms makes it a popular site for students, many from Chicago.
Entrance fee for the quarry is $20.00 per diver/$10 per non-diver for the day.

Directions:
- I-270 north to I-70 east
- At about 100 miles, exit onto I-57 north in Effingham, IL
- At about 150 miles, use exit 315 in Kankakee and turn left
- Go south(left) at stop light onto Rte. 50
- Go 7 stop lights south to North Street, turn left (east)
- Head east for 1 1/4 miles
- Go past a row of houses, last house is blue and white
- A dive flag will be on your right (south) at the asphalt lane
