We Own Winter
Being in the MIdwest we talk about the "dive season". At Y-kiki Divers we believe there is no dive season, just different seasons for diving, each with it's own unique challenges. Gearing up in 100+ degree air temps is no more fun than gearing up in sub-freezing air temps. It's all a matter of perspective.
So change your perspective and find out what cold water diving is like by joining in on this freiendly competition to see who can log the most hours in water below 60° F. There is no fee to take part in the fun, we ask you to register so we know who to keep an eye on for dive posting. Event hoodies will be available for anyone interested.

Contest Rules
- Dives must be logged on a dive computer and verified by contest staff (shop staff at Y-kiki Divers).
- Dives must meet a minimum depth of 20 feet to count as a dive.
- Dives must be posted on Facebook using #WeOwnWinterWithYkiki with picture(s). You can post multiple dives in one post, but posts must be made within 1 week of the dives.
- Dives must be done in cooler climates with water temperature below 60° F.
- Dives must be made between November 15, 2025 and March 15, 2026.
- The diver with the most hours verified by contest staff by the end of the event earns a trophy and bragging rights for the year!
