Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. Emergency Responders also learn patient assessment and first aid.

This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules:
- Emergency First Response - Primary Care (CPR)
- Emergency First Response - Secondary Care (First Aid)
Together, these modules provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR prerequisite.
Prerequisites:
- No dive certification required
- No minimum age limit

Note: You will need to read and complete the knowledge reviews in the student manual prior to attending class. We will watch the video as a class.
As an option, add on Emergency First Response: Care for Children -
This course teaches you to provide emergency care for injured or ill children and infants. In learning CPR, Emergency Responders learn the ABCDs of primary care while this add-on emphasizes considerations for a child's or infant's physiology and anatomy.
Care for Children is only offered in conjunction with Emergency First Response. Register for the "EFR: Care for Children - Unkown Dates" course listed above. You will complete the course on the same date you complete your Emergency First Response course.
