Primary Care (CPR) & Secondary Care (First Aid) & AED use.
Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. Emergency Responders also learn patient assessment and first aid.
Prerequisites:
- No dive certification required
- No minimum age limit

This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules:
- Emergency First Response - Primary Care (CPR)
- Emergency First Response - Secondary Care (First Aid)
Together, these modules provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR prerequisite.

As an option, add on Emergency First Response: Care for Children -
This course teaches you to provide emergency care for injured or ill children and infants. In learning CPR, Emergency Responders learn the AB/CABS of primary care while this add-on emphasizes considerations for the physiology and anatomy of a child or infant.
Care for Children is only offered in conjunction with Emergency First Response. Register for the "EFR: Care for Children" course by contacting the shop. You will complete the course on the same date as your Emergency First Response course.
