During class you will learn and practice Pranayama (Breath awareness) and Asanas (Posture sequence) specifically chosen to improve the strength, flexibility, and range of motion beneficial to SCUBA diving. You will also receive an illustrated copy of the Posture sequence to facilitate practicing it on your own at home.

During Confined Water you will practice buoyancy and propulsion exercises while maintaining breath awareness and efficient body motion. This will include achieving correct weighting with a center of gravity so you can maintain neutral buoyancy in any position, a variety of kicks, no mask breath exercise, and hovering in a variety of positions.

1 classroom session and 1 pool session

• PADI Open Water or Junior Open Water certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Minimum age is 10 years old
